Best Christmas Experience Ever! Our stay at this historic hotel was amazing! The location was perfect for our needs, as we were able to take a steam railway train to nearby attractions with ease. The half board option was very attractive and the food was of excellent quality and presentation. We absolutely loved the model train that delivered our drinks as it added a special touch to our dining experience. the touristic hints provided by the staff were very helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.
During our stay, we did experience some noise from the nearby roads, but it did not particularly bother us. We also had some issues with mosquitoes, but the hotel staff addressed this promptly and effectively.

During my Christmas stay, I had some positive experiences at a country hotel. I loved the quality of the half board meal options that were available with plenty of choices. it was an ideal location for country walking and for railway enthusiasts as it was situated near a railway junction where steam trains operate in three directions. I found it amusing to have drinks delivered by model train, which ran on a rail track located on the restaurant's counter.
The hotel was a bit pricey for its offering and had some minor shortcomings in room maintenance, such as decoration that was wearing and tearing. during the summer stay, mosquitoes were present, which was not the hotel's fault, and they did attend to this.
